Chicago Card Holder, LLC has been a small family owned business since its inception. In 1942, Korky Shklair’s parents obtained the company from a friend. They operated in Chicago and Highland Park, Illinois for the next 42 years until 1984 when it was transferred to Korky and Irv and moved to Waukegan, Illinois. Having been friends with the Shklairs for several years, Nita and Mike Bugge purchased the company on April 17th, 2006. In October of 2009, the company moved to Russellville, Alabama.
Meticulously Handmade in Common & Custom Sizes
We specialize in metal solid-back label holders cut from gold lacquered steel, aluminum, brass, cold-rolled steel and stainless steel. All the card holders are made in the same meticulous fashion as they were when the company first began. Each label holder is cut and formed one-at-a-time by hand. We have our common sizes listed in our catalog, but any size can be custom-made at no additional cost.
